1950 Studebaker Commander Convertible

John's beautiful black convertible has been smoothed and has billet wheels added. The front bumper was removed but John retained the stock chromed rear bumper. The license plate is mounted under the bumper. 

This car runs a built Chevrolet 350 and 700R4 overdrive transmission driving a Currie 9" rear end with 3.89:1 gears. The car has air ride suspension front and rear and the interior is medium gray leather throughout. The car was purchased as a basket case and was built in 20 months by Ed Duffy. The end result is something the owner and builder can be proud of. Check out the nicely detailed engine.
