1950 Studebaker Starlight Coupe

Reggie Greene
Lenoir, NC

Reggie's Starlight Coupe is running a 307 cubic inch Chevrolet engine and TH350 transmission. Two dual feed Holley carbs sit on top of the high-rise manifold. The chassis has Mustang front suspension and 4 wheel disk brakes and it rides on 17" American Racing wheels.

Custom touches on the body include removing the front bumper and the eyebrows from the hood. The door handles have been shaved and the fresh air vents in the front fenders were removed when the fenders were welded to the cowl.  The 51 taillights and license plate have been frenched and the rear bumper is modified with the ends being trimmed.

Inside is a wild purple and white interior that matches the colors of the unique flame paint job. "Studebaker" is embroidered on the white portion of the seat backs and the top of the steering wheel has been cut off. The dash looks to have several auxiliary gauges added in separate pods.
