1950 Studebaker Champion Business Coupe

Judge Gene Fierro
Miami, FL

His Honor has named this car Stude Gone Wild. It's running a 350 Chevrolet bored .030 with an Edelbrock Performer manifold and 650 cfm carb exhausting through HPC coated headers. The TH350 transmission, shifted by a Lokar shifter, drives an S-10 rear end that has 3.42:1 gears and it sets on Boyd's wheels. The front end is Mustang II with 11" power disk brakes and it's steered with an Ididit column topped by a Billet Specialties wheel.

Interior additions include bucket seats, A/C, power windows, power doors, power antenna and a custom Alpine/Kicker sound system.

Outside the front bumper was eliminated and the body was nosed, decked and shaved before the PPG Summer Breeze paint and Coral scallops were added.

The jury has voted and the verdict is that this Stude Gone Wild is guilty of being one bad boy ride.
